Once in a Lifetime Zen Meditation Experience at Ryosokuin Temple in Kyoto

An Indian group came to Kyoto during the beautiful cherry blossom season. They enjoyed sakura (cherry trees), traditional Japanese cuisine and activities. The most interesting experience was Zen meditation, called zazen, at Ryosokuin Temple inside Kennin-ji, in the Gion district of Kyoto. After feeling the silence, simplicity, traditions and formality of zazen, the group felt a calmness and peace of mind.
