  1. Day 1

    Aomori

    Shirakami Sanchi

    Shirakami Sanchi, often referred to as “the forest where the gods dwell”, was designated in 1993 as Japan’s first UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. Of it vast 130,000 hectares, about 17,000 hectares of pristine beech forest were inscribed.

    Hirosaki Castle and Towada Art Center (as an alternative)

    ・Hirosaki Castle : The northernmost surviving castle keep in Japan, designated as an Important Cultural Property.

    Hakkoda Mountains Ropeway

    The ropeway offers stunning views of the magnificent natural scenery of the Hakkoda Mountains, with breathtaking sights that change with each season.

  2. Day 2

    Aomori

    Nebuta Wa Rasse

    It offers a comprehensive introduction to the history and attractions of the Nebuta Festival, allowing visitors to fully experience everything about Nebuta.

    At this market, you can enjoy the unique experience of making your own seafood rice bowl while exploring the market.

    Aomori Baybridge

    From the bridge, you can take in sweeping views of the port city of Aomori, either from your vehicle or on foot.

    The observatory, 51 meters above the ground, offers panoramic views of the Bay Area, and a 360-degree 3D theater showcases the four season of Aomori. At the souvenir corner, you can find many of Aomori’s delicious local specialties.

  3. Day 3

    Aomori → Hakodate

    Hokkaido Shinkansen (Bullet Train)

    The Hokkaido Shinkansen connects Aomori City with Hakodate City across the Tsugaru Strait, covering the distance in under an hour at high speed.

    From the observatory, you can enjoy panoramic views of Mount Hakodate, the Tsugaru Strait, the Yokotsu Mountain Range, and the star-shaped grounds of the Special Historic site, Goryokaku.

    Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse

    Originally established in 1869 as a western goods store, the Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse now has a vintage charm that attracts both locals and visitors.

    Hachiman-Zaka

    It is a straight slope leading down to the sea, known as a photogenic and striking scenic spot. It has appeared in numerous films, TV dramas, and commercials.

  4. Day 4

    Hakodate

    Local Cooking Class with Hama no Kaasan

    Experience making authentic local seafood cuisine with local mothers from the fisheries cooperative association, known as “Hama no Kaa-san”. The menu changes every season depending on the fishing conditions.

    Onuma Quashi National Park

    Known for its rich nature and magnificent scenery. The park offers a variety of landscapes that change with the season. Here, you can also enjoy not only a nature but also birdwatching and various activities.

    Hakodateyama Observation

    From Mount Hakodate, famous for one of the world’s top three night views, the ropeway offers panoramic city views and seasonal scenery to enjoy. You can also enjoy the surrounding nature while riding the ropeway.
